Fun with ReWilding challenges…

3 September 2019: Having fun with the #ReWildYourLife challenge activities doing things like “skying,” which is as simple as taking 30 minutes outside to “look up” and just watch the sky. A great way to unwind and relax after a hectic summer of events…

Long Island Shores…

Exploring close to home…

1 September 2019: Back to home base on Long Island for a few weeks to enjoy the last days of summer out east. Exploring with a purpose for the next few weeks as part of the #ReWildYourLife challenge which is designed to bring us all a bit closer to nature and help us tune in to our environment…

PREVIOUS NOTES FROM THE ROAD >

THIS MONTH:

The #ReWildYourLife challenge is a self-paced challenge with activities designed to be completed over 30 days. Created by the We Are Wildness group the challenge was intended as an antidote to “modern life” where we are so busy with to-do lists that keep us distracted and cut off from the natural world. Studies show the positive health benefits of spending time in the natural world including lowered stress, increased creativity, feelings of peace and an enhanced sense of wonder. The challenge activities are based around spending at least 30 minutes a day outside in a natural space, which is the perfect amount of time to to relax, calm your breathing and adjust your senses to the more subtle world of Nature…

COMING UP SOON:
