Wandering around Coal Country…

On the trail in Pennsylvania…

29 September 2019: Took the slow road back from Women’s Wheeling Day and made time for some scenic trails as fall colors started to show up in the woodlands of Pennsylvania. A great relaxing day out away from the crowds…

Women’s Wheeling Day 2019…

On the trails at WWD2019 at Rausch Creek…

28 September 2019: Trail Guiding a Green group at Rausch Creek Offroad Park for Women’s Wheeling Day 2019 and this year’s event was bigger than ever with over 200 participants. Some of the ladies attending were hitting the trails for their very first time! Our group included a mix of experienced and first-time offroaders, and we were honored to also be guiding two of the event sponsors — Quadratec and Off Brand Products — who joined us out on the trails. The annual event is organized by Christie Vinson and Susan Ash of Jeep Girls Rock! with training and educational support from Kyle Buchter of the Offroad Consulting group …

Ready for Women’s Wheeling Day …

Drivers gather at O’Neal’s Pub for a Meet-and-Greet …

27 September 2019: The parking lot at O’Neals was full of Jeeps and other 4-Wheel Drive vehicles as women (and men) gathered for the “Meet-and-Greet” social event prior to tomorrow’s Women’s Wheeling Day. It was a great opportunity to reconnect with friends and get to know some of the new folks who will be attending the trail runs tomorrow …

Exploring Long Island…

Finding wilderness out east…

16 September 2019: Getting out around Long Island in search of “wilderness” within reach of suburbia has led to some interesting places while doing the #ReWildYourLife challenge. Making plans to explore some of these areas more completely in the future…
