Navigating the Big Dunes


9 FEBRUARY 2014: Focus is on navigation in the dunes today. In the middle of the Imperial Sand Dunes, the team worked on tactics for maintaining a heading while driving through this challenging terrain. Off-Road in Johnson Valley


8 FEBRUARY 2014: A land nav simulation in Johnson Valley took the team over part of the race course for the famed King of the Hammers competition which ended this weekend. Getting more practice in really driving “off-road” and finding a route across this beautiful desert landscape. Some amazing views and great surprises along the way.
