Fun at Rausch Creek

Summertime Jeep fun playing on the trails at Rausch Creek

10 AUGUST 2014: A great day to get out and explore some of the less-trafficked trails at Rausch Creek. A little mud, a little water and a few rocks here and there make it more interesting. Just one of those “Life’s Good” moments…

Topless For Tatas on the Trail

Inaugurating the new “Topless For Tatas Trail”…

9 AUGUST 2014: After a full day of trails we made it to the start of the brand new “Topless for Tatas Trail” that was cut by volunteers at Rausch Creek over the summer specifically for this event. The trail is marked with a donated sign, and sports pink ribbons around the trees representing survivors. Event founder, Chantelle Kern hopes that drivers will be reminded of the struggles faced by those fighting to overcome cancer as they make their way over the trail’s obstacles.

Topless For Tatas Takes Off

500 Jeeps line up this morning at Rausch Creek for the Topless For Tatas trail run…

9 AUGUST 2014: A great turn out this morning for the 6th Annual Topless for Tatas charity wheeling event. Jeeps of all shapes and sizes (and not only Jeeps) lined up in the parking lot under a welcome blue sky to begin a day of fun on the trail while raising awareness and funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Topless For Tatas Vendor Exhibit

The TFT weekend gets started with a vendor exhibition at Rausch Creek

8 AUGUST 2014: The 6th Annual Topless for Tatas charity wheeling event got started with a vendor exhibit and registration today. This year there will be 500 Jeeps participating, and for the first time the event has added a day for participants to enjoy just checking out the product lines and show rigs. Genright, Quadtratec, Terraflex and Poison Spyder were just a few of the big names that came out to support the event and help raise funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Teaming Up with the “Do Good as You Go” Folks in the Sahara this Fall

It’s “official” we will be working together in the Sahara to connect communities and volunteers willing to use their professional skills to “do good as they go” …

1 AUGUST 2014: Very glad to announce that we’ll be teaming up with the “Do Good as You Go” people at The Muskoka Foundation for some outreach to communities in the Sahara. The organization works to connect travelers with local communities as volunteers and is hoping to spread their program to include more partners in north Africa. Muskoka volunteers are seasoned professionals such as doctors, teachers, entrepreneurs and consultants who share their skills and knowledge across a portfolio of workshops and programs. Starting this fall, we will be reaching out to NGOs and associations in Morocco and Mauritania to see how we can “do good” together…

TEAM 171 PRESENTATION

Merci !

SUPPORTING MOTHERS

Team USnomads is proud to support the work of MothersToMothers, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that recognizes the ability of mothers to change their destiny. MothersToMothers, founded by Pamela Parlapiano, partners with local women to create community supported day care and learning centers that change lives. Their model project in Amacho Wato Kebele, Ethiopia, has shown how with just a little help, the mothers in the community can improve the lives of a whole village. Please join us in supporting their efforts to take this successful model to more villages: Donate to MothersToMothers here. (Note that all donations go 100% directly to MothersToMothers).
