Mongolia Expedition Begins…

The epic adventure into the Gobi desert sets off…


24 MAY 2016: The OEX Mongolia Expedition left Ulaanbaatar and headed south into the Gobi desert for a two week journey to support the work of the Mongolian Bankhar Dog Project with nomadic herders deep in the backcountry. Read more about this trip here

20 MAY 2016: This year’s Overland Expo West got off to a great start with sunny skies and much better weather than last year. There was a large turnout at the Mormon Lake location for the first day of the event and lots of knowledge sharing among attendees. Enjoyed the Camel Trophy team’s rollover recovery demonstration as well as opportunities to test-drive vehicles, compare tires, and join in “Q and A” with the Jeep design and marketing group about the upcoming next generation Wrangler …

Headed to Mongolia with the Overland Experts team on a mission to work with nomadic herders in the Gobi desert. The 12-person expedition team will be providing support for the The Mongolian Bankhar Dog Project, which aims to help save a way of life for the Mongolian nomads and at the same time protect a fragile environment …
