Heatwave in Serbia…

Record heatwave in the village…

31 JULY 2017: Temperatures keep rising and it is getting hotter out as the cumulative effect of the extreme heat is building. We are able to get some stuff done in the early mornings, but as the day goes on everyone is increasingly just trying to find ways to keep cool. It is even too hot to sleep during siesta. Forecasts say the heat will not break at all this week …

Serbia for plum harvest…

In the Serbian countryside…

29 JULY 2017: Great to be back to a favorite village in Serbia where we are enjoying some time in the countryside and helping with the annual plum harvest. With a series of heat waves, this year’s crop is not as large as last year, but there’s still plenty to do…

Out East…

The North Fork of Long Island…

23 JULY 2017: Got to explore a bit out on the north fork of Long Island, visit some vineyards and check out the tip of the island. Headed to Orient Point and scouted out some interesting wildlife preserves and protected wilderness before turning back to the west…

Back to New York City…

Back to another old favorite neighborhood…

16 JULY 2017: A quick stop in the city to collaborate on development of an upcoming project offered a great opportunity to just appreciate another “old” neighborhood. The changes in the city’s skyline and population don’t alter some of the essential beauty of the past. Nice to be back, even if only for a brief visit…

Going to RebelleU for some refresher dunes training in September. Rebelle U was established by veteran off-road racer and Rebelle Rally-founder Emily Miller, to help women learn, build, sharpen, and refine off-roading skills in authentic environments designed for them to excel. The training program offers 1-4 day driving and navigation classes in southern California aimed at preparing women to take on vehicle-based adventure.
