Women’s Wheeling Day at Rausch Creek…


A great day on the trail…


21 OCTOBER 2017: Participated in the annual Women’s Wheeling Day at Rausch Creek with a great group of people running some of the parks rockier blue trails. The event, sponsored by OK4WD and Jeep Girls Rock, is a great opportunity for women to challenge themselves together on the trails and learn more skills. In addition to the trails runs, there were some skills building classes offered by NorthEast Offroad Adventures and plenty of great prizes provided by the many companies who joined in to support the event…

Looking at maps and looking ahead…


14 OCTOBER 2017: Spent some time reviewing maps and updating information on possible itineraries for the next Sahara scouting. Always exciting to look at detailed maps and get into the nitty gritty of planning to explore someplace “new.” There will be a lot of leg work before this next trip can become more concrete but making those necessary first steps now…

A brief visit to a laid back Florida location to reconnect with friends and family…


Heading back to the city of light, for old neighborhoods, good friends and some background work for the next Sahara segment…


Holiday road trip time. Loading up the Jeep and heading south for warmer climates and fun times on- and off-road (and maybe picking up some new skills too)…
