A Day of Learning with Woman and Machine …


15 July 2018: Joined with some New England ladies interested in the more mechanical aspects of the automotive world this weekend for the very first Woman and Machine New England event in Carver, MA. It was a great day of learning and sharing knowledge by women in the industry for women who are interested in learning more about it. Got to do some hands on welding and connect with another group of ladies who are trying to make it easier for women across the industry. The day of classes and workshops was held at Crossroads Collision and Auto Repair and with welding materials and equipment provided by Lincoln Electric

14 July 2018: Set up camp at the Shawme Crowell State Forest on Cape Cod for the weekend and enjoyed a calm evening around the fire after a long day of highways and traffic on a major northeast corridor…

Attending Woman and Machine New England, a unique educational event for women interested in the automotive industry, near Boston, 15 July 2018. This one day event hosted by Crossroads Collision and Auto Repair is in the picturesque landscape of Massachusetts and offers beginner and intermediate automotive classes as well as a morning Meet & Greet for women in the industry. The day is about bringing together women who are interested in learning, being encouraged to tackle things they may find intimidating, and developing community…


COMING UP SOON:

Headed back to Moab for some Jeep fun and red rock exploration. Hitting a few trails and working on desert navigation in a very favorite place…


Participating in the Ladies Offroad Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah, 2-5 August 2018. The Ladies Offroad Convention is an action-packed, interactive 4-day weekend educating, motivating, and guiding for ladies involved in all aspects of the offroad world. Presented by Charlene Bower and the Ladies Offroad Network, the event creates a space to learn more about offroad activities and share experiences with like-minded women from around the country…


Heading to a small village in Serbia to help out with the annual plum harvest and spend some time exploring the countryside with friends …


ABOUT CAPE COD

Cape Cod extends into the Atlantic Ocean from the southeastern corner of mainland Massachusetts, it goes from Provincetown in the northeast to Woods Hole in the southwest, and is bordered by Plymouth to the northwest. Cape Cod is known for its history, maritime character and ample beaches attracting heavy tourism during the summer months. Since 1914, Cape Cod has been separated from the mainland by the Cape Cod Canal. The canal cuts 17.5 miles across the base of the peninsula with two highway bridges crossing it. Cape Cod extends 65 miles (105 km) into the Atlantic Ocean, with a breadth of between 1–20 miles (1.6–32.2 km), and covers more than 400 miles (640 km) of shoreline…
